Rikki focuses her practice on representing financial institutions and other clients in their commercial real estate; commercial and community development-related lending activities, including acquisition and construction lending; secured commercial lending; interest rate swaps; and other hedging transactions.

In addition, Rikki has represented financial institutions and other clients in restructuring and modifying commercial real estate, construction, and other types of commercial loans, and in counseling such clients on their rights and remedies with respect to the work-out of such loans.

Rikki is also experienced in commercial real estate transactional matters, including sales and purchases of industrial parks, apartment buildings, and shopping centers; leases of industrial property and office buildings, including solar power, roof leases, and power purchase agreements; land use and zoning applications, and landlord/ tenant matters.

Rikki is a member of the Norris McLaughlin Women’s Forum Marketing Committee.

  • Represented limited partnership in connection with sale of $7,090,000 industrial warehouse property, including restructure of property ownership into tenants-in-common ownership through in-kind partnership redemption to facilitate 1031 exchange.
  • Represented extended stay hotel developer in connection with the $17,500,000 acquisition of two hotels in South Carolina, including negotiation of operating agreement with outside investors, franchise agreement, management agreement and finance documents.
  • Represented national REIT in the acquisition of numerous industrial warehouse properties located throughout New Jersey, including the acquisition of a $9,265,000 facility in Bayonne, a $7,295,000 facility in Rahway and a $7,445,000 facility in Woodbridge, and in on-going leasing matters with respect to such properties.
  • Represented national REIT in connection with solar power, roof lease, and power purchase agreement.
  • Represented company in connection with the $1,100,000 sale of commercial real estate, including preparation of purchase money financing documents and modification of blanket loan facility in order to allow for substitution of collateral in exchange for mortgage release.
  • Represented fast food franchisor in connection with aggregate $10,100,000 commercial loan facility secured by six owned and seven leased properties.
  • Represented regional hospital in connection with loans from PSE&G secured by solar power equipment and Solar Renewable Electricity Certificates (SRECs).
  • Represented national bank in connection with numerous multi-million dollar construction and permanent mortgage loan facilities to regional developer of medical office buildings.
  • Acted as local counsel for pharmaceutical company in connection with the issuance of local counsel opinions in connection with issuance of $675,000,000 senior notes.
  • Represented numerous borrowers in connection with interest rate swaps in connection with commercial loan transactions.
