Norris McLaughlin, P.A. Attorney Participates in Somerset County Bar Foundation Marathon CLE Day

Bridgewater, NJ (May 6, 2011) – Morris S. Bauer, Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will instruct attorneys at Marathon CLE Day, which is hosted by the Somerset County Bar Foundation. The event will be held on May 11, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., at the Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater. For more information or to register, visit www.somersetbar.com.

“The Marathon CLE day is a great opportunity for attorneys to keep abreast of important decisions and changes in the law, as well as fulfill their New Jersey CLE requirements locally,” stated Steven A. Karg, President of the Somerset County Bar Association and a Member of the firm.

Bauer will present a program entitled “The Effect of Bankruptcy on Your Case: What You Should Know, But Don’t,” This seminar provides an introduction to the basics of Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code; how the filing of bankruptcy impacts pending litigation against the debtor and what steps may be taken to possibly protest and maximize the recovery on your client’s claim. This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for one hour of total continuing legal education (CLE) credit (no credit for ethics/professionalism, one hour qualifies for credit towards certification in civil trial law).
