Jeanne Hamburg Appointed as Vice Chair of Law Firm Committee of International Trademark Association

New York, NY (September 13, 2011) – Jeanne M. Hamburg, a Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A. and Chair of its Internet Law Group, was appointed Vice Chair of the Law Firm Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA). The Law Firm Committee is part of INTA’s Education & Services (ESG) Group. The Committee benchmarks and advises on member benefits and services for law firms. It also develops, implements, and maintains law firm programs, namely the CLE Online Ethics Program. The Committee’s activities include program content development, course materials review and development, recruitment of speakers and moderators, location and venue recommendations, and marketing assistance. Hamburg has expertise in all aspects of trademark and copyright law, handling both transactions and litigation. Resident in the firm’s New York City office, she assists clients in a broad range of industries with their intellectual property needs.

For the past three years, Hamburg has been recognized as a New York Super Lawyer® for Intellectual Property and Intellectual Property Litigation. Only five percent of New York lawyers are given this honor.

Hamburg earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a member and editor of the Columbia Law Review, in 1990, and her B.A., magna cum laude, in English from Wellesley College in 1987.
