Norris McLaughlin, P.A. Welcomes New Associate in NYC Office

SOMERVILLE, NJ – The law firm of Norris McLaughlin, P.A. is pleased to welcome Michael T. Reilly as an associate with the firm.

Reilly, a resident of Manhattan, will join the firm’s Real Estate & Land Use and Cooperative and Condominium Law Groups.

Reilly previously worked at Braverman & Associates, P.C. assisting with contracts of sale for multi-family, condominium and cooperative apartment buildings. He represented sponsors and property managers as transfer agent for cooperative closings. He consulted cooperative boards regarding governance and landlord/tenant matters and advised condominium boards in the resolution of disputes involving unit owners, sponsors and contractors. Reilly has also defended condominium and cooperative boards in litigation on the issue of directors’ and officers’ liability.

Reilly has negotiated multi-million dollar commercial and residential real estate financings and closings, including the drafting and reviewing of commercial and residential mortgage and refinancing documents and lease agreements. In addition, he represents clients before regulatory agencies involving rent regulation and loft status and advises his clients with zoning, building code and construction issues.

Reilly earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2002, his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 2001 and his B.A. in Government from Hamilton College in 1998. He is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York, and before the U.S. Tax Court.

Reilly will work out of the firm’s New York City office.
