David Vozza Presenter At Onondaga County Medical Society’s Ask the Carriers Conference

David Vozza, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will present at Onondaga County Medical Society’s Ask the Carriers Conference on Thursday, May 10 at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool, New York. The conference allows attendees to meet with regional insurance carriers to find out what’s new in 2018 and ask any questions they may have.

Vozza will speak on what measures practices should take from an operational and legal standpoint to be prepared for disasters and floods, and what recovery steps they should take afterwards. To learn more about the conference and to register, please visit www.oncms.org.

The firm serves as General Counsel to the Society, whose members include physicians and medical students in Onondaga County.

Vozza defends health care professionals in connection with disciplinary and regulatory actions before federal and state agencies, private and government payor audits, civil and criminal fraud investigations, hospital and privileges disputes, and general healthcare litigation in both federal and state courts. He also regularly defends health care professionals before the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and the Office of Professional Discipline.  Vozza frequently lectures at hospitals throughout New York State regarding medical fraud, regulatory agencies, professional licensure, and medical documentation.   He earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and his B.A. at the State University of New York, Stony Brook.
