Norris McLaughlin Attorney Named Among Pennsylvania Rising Stars

Graham Simmons, Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has been selected for inclusion in the Pennsylvania Rising Stars® 2016 Edition. Only two-and-a-half percent of Pennsylvania attorneys are given this honor, which recognizes lawyers aged 40 and under or who have been practicing for fewer than 10 years.

Pennsylvania Rising Stars, a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement, is published in the Super Lawyers Magazine and Philadelphia magazine.  The rigorous selection process combines peer nominations and evaluations with third-party validation of professional accomplishments.  Super Lawyers Magazine, which features the list and profiles of selected attorneys, is distributed to attorneys in the state or region and to ABA-accredited law school libraries. Super Lawyers is also published as a special section in leading city and regional magazines across the country.  In the United States, Super Lawyers Magazine is published in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., reaching more than 13 million readers.

A resident of Easton, Simmons practices primarily in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and land use, banking and financial services, and health care law.  He was recognized as a Rising Star in 2008, 2013 and 2015. He was honored in 2013 as one of the Lehigh Valley Business’s Top 40 Under 40, which recognizes young professionals who exhibit talent and promise and have a well-documented track record of achievements in business.  Simmons is Assistant Solicitor to the City of Easton Parking Authority and the Northampton County Gaming Revenue and Economic Redevelopment Authority. An active member of College Hill Presbyterian Church, Simmons has served as a committee member and youth leader.  He is a member of the Board of Directors and current President for the Greater Easton Development Partnership and the Board of the Greater Valley YMCA, and was formerly on the boards of the Easton Area Chamber of Commerce and Renew Lehigh Valley. Simmons earned his J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Villanova University School of Law in 2004, and his B.A. from Roanoke College in 2001.
