Norris McLaughlin Attorneys to Present at Somerset County CLE Marathon Day

Nichole Cipriani, and Raymond G. Lahoud of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will be featured speakers at the CLE Marathon Day hosted by the Somerset County Bar Association. The all-day event will take place Monday, October 14, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg.
About the Presentations
Lahoud, a Member of the firm and Chair of its Immigration Law Practice Group, will be on the panel discussing “The Evolution of Immigration Law into Every Practice” during session one, 8:30 – 10:15 a.m.
Cipriani, a Member of the firm, and Dimakos, an Associate of the firm, will be panelists for the discussion on “Probate Part Practice, including Guardianship Update” during session two, 10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

About the Presenters
Nichole Cipriani
Cipriani devotes her practice to estate and tax planning, estate administration, guardianship, and fiduciary litigation. She assists individuals and families with business succession planning, special needs and disability planning, and international estate planning. She is experienced in preparing wills, insurance trusts, revocable trusts, qualified domestic trusts, grantor-retained annuity trusts, charitable trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, special needs trusts, supplemental benefits trusts, durable powers of attorney, and advance directives for health care.
Cipriani has extensive experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, preparing filings for individuals and legal entities, including Forms 706, 709, 990 and 1041, drafting and filing Tax Court petitions and Private Letter Ruling requests, and negotiating Innocent Spouse relief. She is Co-Chair of the Elder, Estates and Trusts Committee of the Somerset County Bar Association. Cipriani earned her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was a Presidential Scholar, and her B.S. from Emory University.
Ray Lahoud
Lahoud focuses his practice exclusively on immigration law and deportation defense for individuals, families, small to large domestic and multinational businesses and corporations, employers, international employees, investors, students, professors, researchers, skilled professionals, athletes, and entertainers, in every type of immigration or deportation defense matter—whether domestic or foreign. His immigration practice is broad, ranging from areas of corporate and employment immigration and related compliance to immigration litigation before agencies and courts across the United States, for corporations and individuals alike. Lahoud received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2009 and his B.A., English, summa cum laude, from Lehigh University in 2006.
