New York, NY (January 15, 2014) – The law firm of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., participated in the New York Cares’ Winter Wishes for Kids and Families Program, as part of its commitment to community. The program helps fulfill the holiday wishes of nearly 40,000 disadvantaged New Yorkers. Children, teens, and families write letters to New York Cares requesting a gift that will make the holidays brighter. A team of attorneys and staff at the firm will volunteer to answer several of those letters by buying the requested gifts.
“It is our pleasure to participate in the NY Cares Winter Wishes Program and other corporate programs they offer throughout the year. We pride ourselves on being a responsible business citizen, by giving back to the communities in which we work and live. It is rewarding to be able to give to others who otherwise might not be able to celebrate with presents during the holiday season,” stated Karol S. Robinson, Member of the firm and coordinator of its Winter Wishes team.
