Norris McLaughlin Sponsors the 34th Annual Lebanese Festival

The law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A. and Raymond G. Lahoud, Member of the firm and Chair of its Immigration Law Practice Group, are proud to sponsor the St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church Lebanese Festival, better known as “Mahrajan,” in Somerset. The event will be held Friday, June 7, 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, noon – 11:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 9, noon – 10:00 p.m., at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, 526 Easton Avenue, on the corner of Franklin Boulevard. Admission and parking are free of charge.
The festival is an outdoor gathering for authentic Middle Eastern food, music, dance, and culture. Traditional Lebanese foods such as falafel, shawarma (gyro), hushish kabob, spinach pies, tabouhli, stuffed grape leaves, and more will be featured. Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available. In addition, guests will be able to enjoy a large assortment of Middle Eastern pastries including baklawa, mamool, nammoora, and ghraybeh. Festivities will also include live music, games, raffles, prizes, and nights of Lebanese dancing. Featured performers include Eddie Osama on Friday; Ayad Atallah on Saturday; and Jad Rahme on Sunday, who will be performing traditional and popular Lebanese songs.
