Ray Lahoud to Present Immigration Law Basics

Raymond G. Lahoud, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., and Chair of its Immigration Law Practice Group, will present “EOIR (Removal and Deportation) and Immigration Courts” on Thursday, June 27, 1:10 – 1:40 p.m., at the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) Seminar, “2019 U.S. Immigration Law: Basics & Beyond” hosted by New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Immigration Law Section, Labor & Employment Law Section, and International Law and Organizations Special Committee.
The seminar will run 9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick. It is designed for those who want an immigration update or refresher and for those who wish to have a basic understanding of immigration practice and procedure. This program will present the basics of immigration practice, including how to obtain Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Visas and how to handle employment and family-based immigration matters; and provide an update on the Trump Administration’s immigration initiatives and its efforts to shift the immigration structure from a family-based to a merit-based system.
