Raymond Lahoud to Speak at East Stroudsburg University

Raymond G. Lahoud, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will speak at East Stroudsburg University’s 2018 Constitution Day event at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, at ESU’s Science and Technology Center. The program is sponsored by the American Democracy Project.

In his presentation, Lahoud will explore legal and constitutional implications of recent immigration policy actions by the Trump administration. Adam McGlynn, associate professor of political science at ESU, chose immigration law as this year’s focus due to the general lack of information and abundance of misinformation on the topic. “We invited Attorney Lahoud because we believed his vast experience and expertise would provide a different vantage point in the immigration debate for our students as compared to the simplistic depictions they see on social media. This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to learn how immigration policy decisions impact families on a daily basis and the campus is looking forward to hosting him,” said McGlynn.
