Allentown, PA (August 1, 2012) – Richard Brent Somach, a Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., (formerly Tallman Hudders & Sorrentino), will present “Sheriff’s Sales & Tax Sales” at “A Day on Real Estate – East” on August 7. Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) at the CLE Conference Center in Philadelphia, the program will also be simulcast in Allentown, Greensburg, Mechanicsburg, Norristown, Pittsburgh, Uniontown, West Chester and Wilkes-Barre. For more information or to attend the seminar, visit pbi.org.
“All of the topics in this session are informative and review timely issues. I am anticipating a high level of participation as sheriff’s sales and tax sales are hot topics,” said Somach.
PBI, the continuing legal education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, is a fully self-supporting, non-profit organization. The organization strives to provide Pennsylvania lawyers with information that is timely, practical, cost effective, and of the highest possible quality. These professionals generously contribute their time and expertise.
Somach focuses his practice on real estate, commercial law, and creditors’ remedies, representing real estate development companies, shopping centers, and local banks. In the banking area, Somach assists clients with their transactional, litigation, and operational needs, and has extensive experience handling collections, foreclosures and complex commercial workouts. He has represented real estate owners, developers and investors in a broad range of real estate transactions including zoning matters, residential subdivisions and shopping center development.
As a licensed title insurance agent, Somach manages ABE Settlement Services, a title insurance and settlement company, to creatively serve client needs. He is legal counsel to the Lehigh Valley Association of REALTORS®.
