Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino Changes Name to Norris McLaughlin, P.A.
Allentown, PA (January 1, 2012) – The Lehigh Valley-based law firm Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino has changed its name to Norris McLaughlin, P.A., reflecting its 2009 merger with the Bridgewater, New Jersey-based law firm. The combined firm is the largest business law firm in the region and offers unparalleled breadth and depth of services in a multitude of practice areas.
“For over two years, we have been integrating our personnel and systems, and this process is virtually complete. While we have maintained the TH&S name during this period of transition, the time has come to shift the merged firm name to Norris McLaughlin, P.A.. While our name may be changing, our commitment to the Lehigh Valley remains steadfast. The merger of Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino with Norris McLaughlin, P.A. has expanded and enhanced the combined Firm’s services in the region and has proven to add value both for our clients and the Lehigh Valley community organizations we support,” said Matthew Sorrentino, Managing Partner of the Pennsylvania Office.
Norris McLaughlin, P.A. has over 150 attorneys in three regional offices in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Bridgewater, New Jersey; and New York, New York. The firm has a strong presence in the coveted I-78 business corridor, which has experienced significant growth in population and employment. Home to a wide range of manufacturing, financial services, communications, pharmaceutical and technology businesses, as well as healthcare and higher education institutions, the Firm’s service area is expected to remain a dynamic environment. The merger has bridged the respective contiguous markets to better serve this emerging business region and the Firm’s existing clients.
Clients of the firm formerly known as Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino can continue to rely on the same combination of talented attorneys, paralegals and staff whose expertise in real estate, health care, labor and employment, taxation, environmental, banking, appellate, creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, and business and corporate law has been enhanced over the past two and one-half years by the addition of practices in intellectual property, public securities, regulatory, white-collar criminal defense and matrimonial law.
“The values and culture of both firms were critical to the decision to merge. Both firms have sophisticated legal practices and value high quality service, while also advocating community leadership and work-life balance. We are grateful to have expanded our practice into the Lehigh Valley and look forward to its continued growth in the area,” said G. Robert Marcus, Chairman of Norris McLaughlin, P.A..
