Tallman Hudders & Sorrentino Employees Brave the Rain
to Walk for a Cure for Cancer

Allentown, PA (October 19, 2009) – Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino, the Pennsylvania office of Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., is proud to announce that, despite the rain and cold, thirty-two employees, including two survivors of breast cancer, participated in the 17th Annual Women’s 5K Classic on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the Lehigh Parkway. Participants from the firm layered up to support the rain or shine event. Over $200,000 was raised to fund local support programs for women with breast cancer and other female cancers in the Lehigh Valley. The firm is an ardent supporter of the Women’s 5K Classic, as it has been directly affected by this disease as many from the firm have had a loved one diagnosed with breast cancer.

“I walked in this event for years before I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since that time I have raised more than $3,500 through the support of my family, friends and my THS family. For the past four years, I have continued to walk in the event as a survivor. I was proud to walk with my friends at THS and my new friends at NMM on Saturday, as we all gave our support to a wonderful cause,” said Janice Buchman of Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino. Linda Partenope, another survivor and employee of the firm stated, “The weather certainly did not dampen our spirits one bit. While the event was very emotional for me as a survivor, I really had a wonderful day and was thrilled to be sharing it with my coworkers.”

As a sponsor of the event, the Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus Women’s Forum participated in the Health Expo held at Cedar Crest College on October 16, 2009, where representatives passed pedometers out to 5K participants and team captains picking up their race numbers and tags.

The Norris McLaughlin, P.A.
