Who We Are
The products and consumer liability defense attorneys at Norris McLaughlin are trial and appellate attorneys with many years of experience in a broad range of products liability, consumer, State Multi-County, Federal Multi-District, and class action defense litigation. Our attorneys defend all types of claims arising from the design, manufacture, distribution, advertising, promotion, labeling, sale and utilization of products and services. We have experience as lead counsel and as local members of national virtual law firm teams. Our litigators strive to develop early exit strategies and have successfully obtained early dismissals based on lack of jurisdiction, failure to state a claim, and other early motion practice. We are well-versed in removing cases to federal court when advantageous to the client.
Our products and consumer defense team includes the co-author of Gann Law Books’ annual publication, New Jersey Products Liability & Toxic Torts Law (Dreier, Karg, Keefe and Katz, Gann Law Books) (2021). Our attorneys have served in leadership roles for state-wide products liability-related groups, have participated nationally in products-related groups, and have formally studied and worked in technical fields.
